To celebrate the registration of Arirang as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, this festival is a compounded cultural art festival that has opened from 2013, opening in Gwanghamun Square among the city of Seoul on every October, with the joint auspices of Seoul Metropolitan City and Seoul Arirang Festival Organization. 2019 Seoul Arirang Festival is held under the theme of "Gwanghwamun, Embracing Arirang” to honor the historical significance of Gwanghwamun as a place where court culture and popular culture coexisted in harmony during the Joseon Dynasty. Enjoy the festival by participating in the fun-packed program, including the opening performance, Gwanghwamun Music Festival, and Pan-Nori Gil-Nori(Parade Performance).

Pan-Nori Gil-Nori (Parade Performance)
Pan-Nori Gil-Nori is created by Arirang from all over the country Pan-Nori Gil-Nori is a mega play board that opens the way for the Gwanghwamun in the center of Arirang. This year, there will be a venue for spreading and interacting with regional Arirang conservation society.
Pan-Nori Gil-Nori is a Korean-style parade, in which many citizens and foreigners march, dance and sing, showing the open spirit of Arirang.
